Poo & The Loo Toilet Training Seminar

Poo & The Loo Toilet Training Seminar

Poo & The Loo Toilet Training Seminar AprilApr 26 2024 10:00 - 11:3020 MAIN STREET,, Rathfarnham, Ireland

In the latest of our child development seminars, we are delighted to welcome Ann Costigan to Kidspace. Ann has been a Registered Childrens' Nurse (RCN, BSc Nursing) for over 25 years.

She is Colorectal Specialist Nurse, with a special interest in Idiopatic Constipation (no underlying/known cause) and Toilet Training expert. Ann shares her knowledge and insight on her @pooandtheloo instagram account and is also a mum of three little ones.

This Toilet Training Session will focus on preparing yourself, the parent and also on preparing your little one for learning to use the potty. Ann will teach you about constipation in childhood and why it can be so difficult to spot.

Recognising constipation before starting to use the potty can lead to greater success in mastering the potty. It is well documented that constipation can be a huge barrier to learning to use the potty. Constipation may be a factor before starting but it can also develop as soon as you start potty training because little ones can become scared to let that poo out on the potty!

We will also have a complimentary supervised activity for little ones if you'd like to bring them along and tea/ coffee and bakes for the adults. Tickets are limited for this special event so please book early to avoid disappointment.
